R-Type Leo was the third installment of the sideways scrolling shoot-em-up
classic.
It was arcade-only and never made it to the US. A nice sequel with
new weapons and nice colorful graphics, this is the only game in the series with
a 2-player simultaneous mode. The customary orb has been replaced with two
smaller orbs which power-up with assorted devastation.
R-Type Leo has
six levels of action-packed carnage and is one of the most sought after Video
Game Baords.
