EPROM

This device is an Electrically Programmable Read-Only Memory
(EPROM). It has a size of 1Mbit, organized as 65536 Words by 16 Bit (DWORD). The
Memory cells can be selected by 16 address lines and then switched to the data
outputs D0-D15 with OUTPUT ENABLE (/E). Before that the EPROM must be activated
with CHIP ENABLE (/G).
Memory contents can be
cleared by ultraviolet light, therefore EPROMs have a transparent opening that is
taped over with a Label after programming. Erased EPROMs can be reprogrammed with
an EPROM programmer. The programming voltage is 12,5V, a complete programming
process takes about 0.5 to 2 minutes, depending upon the Algorithm used.
Our EPROMs are used, but tested and erased. They are from different
manufacturers, but depending upon availability we consider your special
needs (type, access time, manufacturer… ). We also offer a programming Service
