Volfied

Volfied is an early Quix-like Puzzle Game from Taito

The Story: Spaceship Monotros is rushing through space after picking up a crackling SOS from its home world. Aliens have laid siege and already captured most of planet Volfied, forcing survivors to cower underground.

To recapture sections of land from the aliens Monotros must connect beams from one wall to another, while avoiding alien contact. Aliens can be captured and destroyed and power-ups unlocked by surrounding them with beams, but only when 80% of the land is captured will a stage be cleared and free from alien control.
